Welcome to Mulberry Shore Inn

Mulberry Shore Inn is located on Moore Lake in the Haliburton Highlands. Our brand new small 3 season waterfront resort opened June 2014. The resort offers one bedroom units with kitchens that can accommodate up to four guests. The suites can be reconfigured into two or three bedroom adjoining units if needed. Living rooms have a pull-out couch or futon for overnight guests. All units have decks with BBQ and patio furniture.

Our Moore Lake location features rock and sand shoreline with dock. Boating access is on a three lake chain, 17 km of the Gull River to Elliot Falls plus portage access to Gull Lake and all the way to Minden Village. Guests will enjoy fishing and swimming right from our dock. Two fishing boats, two kayaks, and a canoe are provided.

Walk to a good restaurants or drive a few minutes to Minden or Haliburton Villages for more restaurants and full shopping facilities. Area attractions and activities include the Minden Cultural Centre, three museums (Minden, Stanhope and Haliburton), art galleries, two libraries, many local artisans and numerous hiking trails. The sculpture forest is a short drive away and Haliburton Forest offers the Wolf Centre and Walk in the Clouds Forest Canopy Tour. In summer Thursdays evenings are classic car club nights in Minden at Kawartha Dairy ice cream outlet or Head Lake park in Haliburton. We usually attend with our classic Studebakers.

There is no shortage of things to do onsite at Mulberry Shore Inn or offsite in our immediate area. You will find Haliburton to be very picturesque, dotted with lakes and lots of rugged wilderness. We are less than an hour south of Algonquin Provincial Park. Mulberry Shore Inn is a perfect base location for car club rendezvous or students attending Sir Sanford Fleming Art School.

Accommodations.

Our units are one bedroom with living room and one bathroom. Units are fully equipped housekeeping suites and each unit sleeps up to four people. They can be interconnected to provide two or three bedrooms for larger groups.

We are a quiet, natural family resort with minimal lawns and gardens. Party animals would be happier elsewhere.

Part weeks are available in the off season.
We offer a 10% SENIORS DISCOUNT.

We cannot take credit or debit cards yet and cheques must be cleared 5 business days before arrival. 50% deposit required at time of booking, balance before check-in. Bring your own sheets and towels or we can supply for a small charge.

The cancellation policy for this property is firm. For bookings cancelled up to 60 days prior to the check in date, a 100% refund will be given. For bookings cancelled up to 30 days prior to check in, a 50% refund will be given or full refund if your unit can be rerented. Less than 30 days no refund will be given unless we can rerent your unit.
